Ahmed Faris Rezq
Ahmed Fares Rezq Avadallah was born in Saudi Arabia in 1980 and obtained his bachelor’s degree from the Department of Arabic Language, Cairo University. Avadallah studied calligraphy in Egypt with Abdullah Othman, al-Bahi Ahmad and Hussain Amin. In Turkey he studied under the tutelage of Mehmed Özçay, from whom he received his certificate in 2011. He also studied with Davut Bektaş and Osman Özçay and received another certificate from them in the same year. He participated in numerous exhibitions in seven continents and was awarded for his works. He teaches calligraphy in Egypt and abroad. He participated in writing the inscriptions for the new expansions of the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca.
