Muhammed Yaman
Muhammed Yaman started to receive calligraphy lessons from Ali Husrevoglu in 2001. After practicing naskh and riq’a scripts for nearly one year continued sülüs script performances with Osman Ozcay. He learnt sizing paper for paper-marbling, stretching murakka and restoration of calligraphy. He was awarded with first prizes in jaly thuluth branch in Albaraka Türk Bank Calligraphy Contest in 2008, and 8th International Calligraphy Contest arranged by IRCICA in 2010, and 9th International Calligraphy Contest arranged by AL BURDA in 2011. Muhammed Yaman has been attending lessons relating to thuluth script by Osman Ozcay and naskh script by Mehmed Ozcay.
