This Hadith-i Sharif, in which the Prophet (pbuh) expresses the importance and value of mothers, was written in the Jali Thuluth script by Calligrapher Seyit Ahmet Depeler. Seyit Ahmet Depeler
Seyit Ahmet Depeler was born in Turkey’s central province of Konya in 1986. Encouraged by his grandfather, the late calligrapher Abdullah Rıza, he received riq’a lessons from Tahir Güçlü in 1999. He started practicing the style of thuluth with renowned calligrapher Hüseyin Öksüz in 2000. Depeler graduated from the department of traditional Turkish arts at the Fine Arts Faculty of Selçuk University in 2010, where he received diwani and jali diwani lessons from calligrapher Fatih Özkafa.
