If you are human, find “there is the Face of Allah”
Wherever you look, find that beautiful Allah
This beautiful Quranic verse—explicated and offered to the wisdom of humanity through these couplets by Hazrat Niyâzî-i Mısrî (k.s.)—emphasizes that the world we live in should not act as a veil over our perception, and that we must strive to perceive the Creator by contemplating the created. Summarizing a profound statement that could fill hundreds of volumes, this sublime expression invites us on a deep journey from the artwork to the Artist, from the names to the One named.
Opening a new door of contemplation every time it is viewed, this unique artwork is rendered on paper using the gold calligraphy (zerendûd) technique in a mirrored (müsenna) form and Jali Thuluth script style through the majestic composition of Calligrapher Osman Özçay. The Surah Al-Baqarah Verse 115 calligraphic frame is reproduced in our workshop with fine art print quality from the original piece prepared by the artist in 2017 and presented to art lovers.
